Cityparents Ltd is owned by Louisa Symington-Mills (CEO and Founder), Helen Beedham (Head of Corporate Affairs), and includes the Cityparents Network, Cityworks and Cityflex.
Helen Beedham looks after Cityparents' corporate relationships and is responsible for our employer forum, Cityworks. Helen worked in management consulting for 15 years, primarily full-time and subsequently part-time. She helped major corporate and Government clients to implement organisational, HR and people-related changes. Prior to consulting, she worked for the Director of Operations at Harrods. She is married with two grown-up step-children and a daughter aged 7, and lives in Kent. After leaving consulting in 2011, she juggled full-time parenting with establishing a micro-bakery business and giving language coaching. Alison Deane previously worked in Corporate Communications in Telecoms, delivering a programme of events and products which showcased revolutionary and first-to-market products. She has a passion for enabling others to realise their potential through mentoring and development, and is an NLP Master Practitioner. Alison lives in the Kent countryside with her daughters aged 11 and 9, and numerous pets. Widowed in 2015, Alison is now excited to be embracing the work dimension back into her life. Fran Murrells has a passion for high quality events, with over 17 years event management experience working across financial services, education and advertising. Fran joined Cityparents in September 2018 supporting Milly Sutton with the growing events offering. She has two children aged 4 and 7 and lives in South London. You can email Fran directly here.
Kathryn Ryan joined Cityparents in October 2017 and helps to run our employer forum Cityworks. Kathryn started her career in HR, working for both the public and private sectors, before transitioning into management consultancy. Kathryn worked for leading consultancy firms for 10 years, helping corporate clients to drive HR efficiency and implement organisational change. Milly Sutton manages Cityparents' busy events schedule. Milly joined Cityparents in January 2017, and previously worked at a law firm as Events Manager in the BD and Marketing Team for many years, before taking a career break in April 2016 to spend more time with her two daughters (aged 2.5 and 4 years). Louisa Symington-Mills oversees all aspects of Cityparents Ltd's activities. Louisa established Cityparents (then known as Citymothers) in November 2012. For 10 years Louisa pursued a busy career in banking and finance as a top-3 Extel-ranked sell-side analyst covering listed alternative investment funds at Royal Bank of Scotland and then Jefferies, following the sale of RBS Hoare Govett. She subsequently became Chief Operating Officer at LPEQ (www.LPEQ.com), an international association of listed private equity companies. Prior roles were held at M&G Investment Management and a multi-family office. Louisa is married with two young children, Rose aged nearly 7 and Laurie aged 5, and lives with her family in the UAE. Kim Willis joined Cityparents in October 2016 and assists the team with administration, social media and the quarterly newsletter. Prior to that she worked for an international association of Listed Private Equity companies in an investor relations and marketing role; where she managed the company website, liaised with members, and coordinated membership events in Europe and London. She has two children 11 and 10 and lives in the countryside and enjoys the commute back to London when work permits. You can email Kim directly here.
