Join us to stay connected, meet others with similar ambitions, network with future colleagues and employers, and refresh your skills to prepare you for a return to the workplace. 

Back to the City members will gain access to the exciting and varied range of events organised by Citymothers & Cityfathers, as well as dedicated seminars covering topics specific to returners.

Since launch we have built a fantastic events programme through our Speaker Series, with high profile guest speakers including Alison Davis, RBS Group board member; Ruby McGregor-Smith CBE, CEO of Mitie Group; Dr Samantha Collins, CEO of the Aspire Foundation; Catherine Weir, Head of Citi Global Family Office Group; Cherie Blair CBE; Baroness Helena Kennedy; Dame Clara Furse; Elizabeth Truss MP; Dr Therese Coffey MP; Miriam Gonzalez Durantez; Dame Clara Furse; Nick Clegg; Nicola Horlick. Confirmed speakers for the remainder of 2014 and 2015 include Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury, Anne Richards, Stefan Stern, Justine Roberts, Sharon White, Moya Greene and the Lord Chief Justice. 

Our Seminars provide a more interactive and intimate discussion forum for a wide range of topics including the maternity/paternity transition, career progression, returning to the workplace and parent education. These take place either over breakfast or lunch and last approximately 1.5 hours. Currently, Seminar providers include Talking Talent, DCC Clinical, The 3-Day Nanny, Educating Matters, 30% Club, Board Intelligence, The Executive Coaching Company, Women on BoardsUK, Parental Choice, Women Returners and The Positive Parenting Project.
