Joining the Cityparents Experience Bank

Please read the following before posting your experience here.

Entries are limited to 1600 characters (approximately 300 words) .  We welcome submissions covering all types of leave, including maternity, paternity, shared parental, adoption, surrogacy, compassionate and career break. Feel free to post separate experiences if you’ve had more than one period of leave.

We want to hear about all your experiences – good, bad and neutral. We’d like to hear what went right and what went wrong; is there anything you know now that you wish you’d known at the time? Would extra support have been helpful, and if so what?

PLEASE NOTE: All submissions are anonymous. Submissions must not reference names of other individuals or your employer. Posts cannot be edited once submitted. Before you submit your post, please ensure you categorise your experience according to the available options – this will ensure people searching for particular kinds of experiences will find the right ones.
