Our Career Conversations are aimed at network members at all career levels facing key professional milestones or career crossroads. All members are welcome to apply for a place at these events, which form part of the Cityparents Mentoring Scheme. The events are designed to offer mentoring-style advice to a small number of individuals in a confidential and supportive environment.
Each Career Conversation takes place over lunchtime in a private dining room in the City of London, and consists of open conversation guided by a senior professional in a particular field. Tickets are priced at £40 and include lunch, with wine or soft drinks. Capacity is limited to 15 places per event, and in view of this places will be filled following a short application process, to ensure a balance of experience around the table.
Lunches typically centre around a particular City profession, although we include one 'General' lunch in our schedule that aims to cover all professions, giving attendees the opportunity to chat to experienced executive coaches about their career queries.
