Citymothers and Cityfathers are part of Cityparents Ltd, run by Louisa Symington-Mills (CEO and Founder), Helen Beedham (Head of Corporate Affairs) and Milly Sutton (Cityparents Network Manager).

Louisa Symington-Mills established Citymothers in November 2012, and Cityfathers in April 2014. Over the past 10 years, Louisa established a strong career in banking and finance as a top-3 Extel-ranked sell-side analyst covering listed alternative investment funds at Royal Bank of Scotland and then Jefferies, following the sale of RBS Hoare Govett. She subsequently becoming  Chief Operating Officer at LPEQ (, an international association of listed private equity companies. Prior roles were held at M&G Investment Management and a multi-family office. Louisa is married with two young children aged 3 and 5 years. 

Louisa was named one of the Global Finance 50 for 2015 by ICAEW and has received a number of awards recognising her work at Cityparents including:

Helen Beedham worked in management consulting for 15 years, primarily full-time and subsequently part-time. She helped major corporate and Government clients to implement organisational, HR and people-related changes. Prior to consulting, she worked for the Director of Operations at Harrods. She is married with two step-children aged 19 and 21 and a daughter aged 5, and lives in Kent.  After leaving consulting in 2011, she juggled full-time parenting with establishing a micro-bakery business and giving language coaching.  Helen is enjoying her return to the corporate world in her new role at Cityparents, and is also on the Committee for the Women’s Network at Trinity College Cambridge. 

Milly Sutton joined Cityparents in January 2017. She previously worked at a City law firm as Events Manager in the BD and Marketing Team for many years, before taking a career break in April 2016 to spend more time with her two daughters (aged 2.5 and 4 years).

The day to day activities of the Citymothers and Cityfathers networks are run by a Committee consisting of Louisa Symington-Mills, Helen Beedham, Milly Sutton and:
Esther Cavett works as an executive coach and pianist and sits as a non-executive director on the boards of a higher education institution and major music festival.  She first trained as a professional musician and then spent over two decades in the City, becoming a transactional partner in a magic circle law firm where she ran her own group.  She runs the Cityparents Mentoring Scheme.  She lives in London with her second husband; her daughter is a marine engineer and her step children currently work in the civil service and charity sector.   

Mena McMahon is a Market Manager within Transaction Services Product at RBS and she has almost 20 years experience in the Financial Service industry. Mena studied computer programming and systems analysis at the Dublin Institute of Technology and she started her career with a role in IT with ABN AMRO Bank in Dublin in 1994. In 1997 she relocated to their head office in Amsterdam to join their Global Transaction Services division. In 2005 Mena moved to ABN AMRO Bank in London as part of a compliance project role and in 2007 Mena joined the Transactions Services Product team and is now part of the RBS Group. Mena lives in Surrey, is married to Simon and has two young boys aged 4 and 2. 

Mark Mills is a Managing Director at Citi Private Bank, where he is Head of Citi Private Bank UAE and Head of Investments for MENA. He has worked at Citi for 14 years, and prior to joining started his career at Legal & General. Mark is married to the founder of Cityparents, Louisa Symington-Mills and is father to two young children aged 3 and 5 years.
